ScrapRmote app for iPhone and iPad

If you archive Web Pages, using the very popular ScrapBook Plugin for Firefox, youll be happy to know that this App allows you to wirelessly (remotely) read your ScrapBook archived web pages on your iPad.

With the free ScrapBook Plugin for Firefox Browser, I had saved years of web pages containing Old Bank Statements, Online Technical Docs, Health Articles, Food Recipes, News Articles, etc ...all locally on my MacBooks Hard Disk. The ScrapBook Plugin has long been available for computers, but never for tablets, until now. I wanted to change all that. Thus, this iPad App, now, allows you to access those saved Web Pages on your Mac, but remotely from your iPad. (That works very similarly to the way Remote Video Access Apps allow access to videos stored on your Mac, but from your iPad or iPhone over your home network).

This ScrapRmote™ App is a web browser, of sorts, but its primary use is to browse (or consume) stuff that youve already saved from the Internet (Web) to your macOS computers hard disk, aided by the use of a Firefox Internet Browser with the free ScrapBook plugin. (Yes, the free ScrapBook Plugin does save Web Pages in HTML format to your local hard disk in its own ScrapBook database format. Our free server App "ScrapRserver™" knows the format of your ScrapBook database on your hard disk..it can open it and read it...then wirelessly publish that to your home network for this iPad App "ScrapRmote™" to wirelessly access it. (I reverse engineered the ScrapBook database to be able to do so).

ScrapRserver™ is the macOS App which publishes your ScrapBook database on your local area network for wireless access by an iPad running ScrapRmote™ You can download the ScrapRserver™ App for free on our website (see our Website Link), but this macOS App is required for the iPad App (ScrapRmote™) to be of any use to you. Together the 2 Apps are a SW Suite we call ScrapRsuite™. Sorry, the ScrapRserver™ is not available for Windows or Linux. Thus, this SW solution requires exclusively Apple HW (iPads and Macs).
